Brandi has tested positive for heartworm. She has not had a good start. She was found as a stray and
spent time at animal control until we were called and they said she was being uthinized that day and
we said stop. We brought her to the rescue and began our routine stuff and placed her in a foster
home. She got her shots. She was already spayed and then the BOMB dropped. We had her tested
for heartworms and she was positive. Now she is on antibiotics for 14 days then she starts the
treatment for heartworms. It is costly and we are looking for individuals and companies to help us
with the cost. If you can donate even $5.00 will help.  We are trying to raise $400.00 to help pay for all
the medical bills on her.
You can donate by calling Mt Comfort Animal Hospital 317-894-2800 and saying the donation is for
Brandy with Frenzy Animal Rescue or by clicking the paypal donation button

10/12/09 Brandi ahd her first shot today and I have a report that she is doing good. In her
crate and crying just a bit so she has been given an buffered aspirin.

10/13/09 Brandi has gotten the second shot and she seems to not be tolerating so good. She
was slow going up the stairs and crying a lot. Buffered aspirin was gien and she is resting
comfortably now.

10/20/09 Brandi is getting along good. She had a rough couple days but is through that and
the foster is having a hard time keeping Brandy still LOL

11/06/2009 Brandi has started some bleeding and the doc thinks maybe a bladder infection so
on antibiotics for 7 days and last treatment injection on the 14th. Looks like she will be good
through the ordeal.

PLEASE use the monthly treatment for
heartworm.  It is not that expensive
compared to the treatment for heartworms
and the worry of wether or not your pet will
make it through the treatment
